Akva Tera
Even if you think that it may be a bit too cold for a visit to the zoo, it does not mean that you cannot explore the world of animals with your children. Akva Tera is a subsidiary of the Pilsen Zoological Garden and it is located right in the city centre (near the Great Synagogue). Akva Tera offers a wide range of aquarium fish, reptiles and amphibians including fascinating invertebrates, as well as a varied feeding programme for those who are really interested. For example, on Saturdays you can come to watch feeding of the piranhas and to pet a snake starting from 10,30am. From 2pm on Saturdays and Sundays you can watch feeding of spiders. If you show your ticket to the zoo your entrance fee will be discounted by 50%.
