Take your kids to the new Teddy Bear Museum

No other toy on earth is as loved as the teddy bear. Children of generations past have adored teddy bears, and the same can be said for today’s generation. The first-ever teddy bear was made on October 23, 1902, in a toy-making factory in the German town of Giengen. In 1903, teddy bears started being made in the USA under the trademark Teddy, and thus, the story of this beloved stuffed animal began.

Teddy Bear Museum

You can check out the stuffed bears and teddy bears in school, at the doctor’s office, in the kitchen, or doing household chores at the new Teddy Bear Museum on Perlová Street in Pilsen.
These beloved children’s toys come from all over the world, including Germany, France, England, and even the former Czechoslovakia from the years 1910-1960.
Here you’ll see interesting and quite rare pieces that you won’t find anywhere else. The teddy bears come in various sizes, shapes, and ages.
The museum even offers a teddy bear hospital, where you can leave your broken toy to be fixed.
