Museum of Book Printing and Books
Did you know that the first book ever was printed at the end of the 15th century in Pilsen? And it is precisely this rich tradition of book printing in Bohemia which is followed by the Museum of Book Printing and Books. The museum introduces this tradition to its visitors and it does not focus only on the invention of the book print itself and the development of printing. You will see historical printing machines here and you can get familiar with the work of other printing professions, such as typesetting.
