Škoda Sports Park
To enjoy sport, visit the Škoda Sports Park in Doudlevce right on the banks of the Radbúza River. There are several courses for various ball games, a climbing wall for brave visitors, an in-line skating track and a skate park. For smaller visitors there is a playground. In summer months, there is an outdoor shower provided. Obviously, Škoda Sport Park provides facilities such as toilets and various refreshments.
Škodaland
The multifunctional sports complex Škodaland is located near the České údolí water reservoir. You will find here an in-line track, a mini-golf course or a skate park. An attraction of this area is also a naturally clean bathing pond suitable for children and allergy sufferers. You can also enjoy exercising on outdoor fitness machines or playing on a beach volleyball course or a football field. You can borrow pedal boats or small boats here and explore the dam.
Štruncovy sady
... or "Štruncáky" as the locals call the area, are inseparably associated with football. Whole family can enjoy various sports near the "Viktorka" Pilsen stadium. Take a walk or ride a bicycle on the tracks along the Radbúza and Mže River to their confluence or explore the area around the stadium on in-line skates. An unusual sporting experience at the stadium offers an outdoor climbing wall and an archery field. There are many places to relax along the river including a children's playground for small children, all in the closest vicinity of the historical city centre of Pilsen.
Plzeň Plaza Park
The park located behind the Plzeň Plaza Shopping Centre offers, in addition to an amphitheatre, plenty of space for relaxing and sporting activities. Here you can find a place for skateboarding, mini golf and various ball games. In the park behind Plaza cultural and sporting events take place, for example, in 2016 the Olympic Park was located there The Olympic Park attracted many visitors and it will be followed by similar events for both young and adult athlets
Borský Park
The largest park in Pilsen – Bory is an ideal place to spend a whole day in by active relaxing. You can go to Borský Park for a walk, children can play on several playgrounds and you can use cycling paths for riding a bicycle. In the area of TJ Slavia VŠ Plzeň you can use an in-line track or play mini golf and then buy an ice cream as a reward for your effort.
Bolevecké rybníky (Bolevec Ponds)
The pond system in Bolevec is a favourite target destination of most Pilsen inhabitants during hot summer days. The smallest visitors have a lot of fun here too. Biking trails connecting all ponds offer diverse bike or in-line skating tracks. By the Great Bolevecký Pond you will find an outdoor gym and a climbing area for children, you can swim directly in the pond and then enjoy relaxing on its shores and beaches.
Cycling Path along the Radbúza River
Cycling paths and hiking trails along the four rivers in Pilsen are a great starting point for many trips. However, also through the city they provide a good opportunity to enjoy cycling. Take a walk from Štruncovy sady on the cycling path along the Radbúza River to Doudlevce where you can visit the sport and recreation area Škoda Sport Park.
Božkov Island
The island surrounded by the water of the Úslava River in Božkov in Pilsen provides great space for resting and sporting activities for the whole family. You can use an in-line track, a football pitch and other sports facilities or cycling paths. The river bed features meanders in which the smallest visitors can enjoy bathing during hot summer months.
